Hospers, Iowa — The Hospers Fire Department was called out twice in two days this week.

Granville, Iowa — A corn crib was saved from a burn on Thursday, May 12, 2022, near Granville.

Hawarden, Iowa — A joint investigation between deputies from Sioux Canton and officers from Plymouth County has resulted in the arrest of a Hawarden homo.
Sioux County authorities say the investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at 49-twelvemonth-old Jamie Ahrens' address at 1263 505th Street due south of Hawarden.
